Being An Entrepreneur: (Part 1)

Hey, all! *waves emphatically*

I’m starting a new short series.

*drum roll*

BeFunky-design.jpg

Yep, you heard it. A new series.

It will be posted on Saturday’s, and this is the first Saturday.

I want to get started with a definition. What does the word even mean?

Entrepreneur:
“A person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.”

Sweet, right? Yep. Mom says I am an entrepreneur, why? Well, besides writing and then trying to publish books after editing them like crazy, I started my own online business, I didn’t give up even knowing Etsy said I was too young, and so I created my own. Check out LilMissCrafterCo.

My point is: entrepreneurs are go-getters that go for it, do it, and even if they fail they try their best and then make the approach better so that they can try again and the next time…succeed.

How Can I Be A Entrepreneur?

You go find something you love.

Do you love to bake? Start bake sales on your street every-once-in-a-while.

Are you talented at making things? Make an online business like I did!

Are you a good writer? Write a book, edit, and then try to publish it. (It takes a while but it’s worth it!)

And lastly…

Be patient. You can’t make money in a day. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Best-sellers aren’t written in a day. Be patient.

I Have Literally No Money…

Need a logo? Make one yourself on Power-Point or BeFunky.

Want to build a WordPress site to make things? There are FREE plans! (I’m on one, hehe).

Do you want to do something that costs money? Start with bake sales, do odd jobs for family members, put yourself out there, make your money, then start building what you really wanted to do.

If I’m Starting An Online-Business How Do I Get People To Pay Me?

On my business, (LilMissCrafterCo.), I have Google Pay, Cash App, if you send me a check I will verify it, if it’s good I will send you your stuff, too. I was going to do Paypal but I have to be 18-years-old, you can get a person to manage the account that is above 18 and you do everything else, I was going to do that but the person that did it for you couldn’t have a PayPal account, and all my family members do. *slaps forehead* But, I figured it out. There is also Venmo, (I haven’t searched that out yet)…and I bet there are more!

I know this was short but I feel like I gave you a lot, so what do you think?

Yeah great post! And awesome business! I am planning on starting a graphic designing business. I used to make memes for a business my parents had and I’ve made a few logos but I want to start a business. If you have any tips about it that would be totally helpful! 😀

Thanks, Ezra! Just keep listening to the series and I think that will help, (great idea!), and I could design your website for you if you wanted, just go to my business and click “Design Help” at the top 😉

Your welcome. 😀 Okay will do! But I think I’ll just design it myself because I have literally no money, that’s why I’m starting a business XD,

Love this! Very well set out! I think you can make anything you love a full time venture, lead with passion and the money will come later (if that’s what you want).

Thanks for sharing! Will keep an eye out for more of your posts!
