Hello! It’s Wednesday! And I’m excited it is. 😁
(BVW frame would go here but I accidentally deleted it from media, so…I’m trying to fix that! That’s why a lot of my posts do not have graphics. *sighs* Sorry about that!)
“Seek the Lordy and His strength; seek His presence continually.” ~1 Chronicles 6:11.
It’s about His strength and not our strength. Our job is to seek Him, our duty to praise Him. Continually is also important and key in this verse. It’s the Old Testament so we know it was written in Hebrew. Thus, let’s look at the Hebrew.
Hebrew: (kənˈtinyo͞oəlē) ללא הרף
Meaning: always, constantly, ever, continually.
Not in one of those does definitions does it say “a little.” Nor does it say an hour a day. There has always been a question on how much one should pray and seek God.
Is there an allotted time to pray?
In a way, it’s continually. Some Christians don’t want to do that but, it is our job. “Continually seeking God” doesn’t mean being in your room 24/7 praying and reading your Bible. It’s making decisions in His name, asking the right questions, acting as if in all your actions you’re representing Christ. Because you are.
I hope you liked this one! ❤ Love y’all! Have a wonderful day. 😉

Great post Ari!
Do you actually know Hebrew fluently?? If so, that’s so cool!

Thank you. I do lots of research of Greek and Hebrew and I took a year of French. But I don’t know it fluently.

This is a great verse! I believe that you can pray in your heart(kind of like what you said about always having your actions reflect that of a Christian)
I don’t know what exactly you believe, but I believe that the Godhead is 3 separate personages, and they all have different ways to go about the same purpose. The Holy Ghost(or Spirit) is with us constantly if we so choose, and that’s a gift. Because of his constant companionship, he can help us to make decisions and help comfort us.’
I kind of rambled, I’m sorry.

Yep, I basically believe what you believe. The Holy Spirit (or Ghost) is there to guide us and correct us. This is a part of sanctification. And then Jesus died for us, God is the “Head.”
