Can You Ask God Why? {Discussion} + Update on Podcast

Ariana's Flying LIfe

I thought it was time for another discussion post. At first I wanted to give my opinion, but I wanted to hear yours as well because it differs sometimes from person to person.

Discussion Post AFL

Do you believe you can ask God why?

This can be “Why me?” “Why are you doing this?” “I don’t get it, why?” type of questions.

My Opinion

I think you can ask God why-but your spirit needs to be right. It can’t be a “Why? I don’t deserve this, you’re so mean!” Because, 1) he’s not mean, 2) we deserve Hell and He saved us.

But, if we just want to know and we have a spirit of “Let your will be done…” as if we may know He won’t answer because we don’t need to know.

Now…Give Me Yours!

I would love to know your opinion!! Please comment below. Feel free to reply to other’s comments and debate/agree/talk with them. 😉 I love to see y’all talk to each other and me.

Also, new episodes on podcast here! I just wanted to let you know. If you have any comments on my podcast please feel free to comment on this post as well. 🙂

Love ya!

What did you think of the podcast episodes? Do you think you can ask God why?

It’s our heart when we ask the question. I don’t think the Lord minds us asking Him when we really want to know something. It’s different when we’re testing Him.

Good post Ari! 🙂

I feel like we can ask God why but we also need to remember Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) ” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “

Great post ,Ariana.I agree with you on it 100%.😊♥️Yes, some people tend to ask God why when trials come into their lives. May we ask God to help us.

Hey, just a suggestion but you could take out part of the blog post in the email and just say “Click here to read the rest!” or something like that because more people will actually visit your blog probably.

That is such a good question! I believe that sometimes we need to ask “why”. We aren’t always going to understand the answer, but I believe that at one point or another we’re all going to ask that question. I know I have several times. I used to think that it was wrong to ask “why”, I thought I just had to accept everything as it was but I don’t think seeking to understand or crying from a breaking heart, “Why God, why is this happening?” is wrong. 🙂
