Bible Verse Wednesday!

Hello There

It’s time for BVW. 🙂

Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Humble is a lack of pride. Gentle is not just physically, but emotionally, it’s much like compassion and empathy. Patience is also hard, but it means waiting not on your schedule but God’s and others. Love. Love is…everything. 1 Cor. 13:13 says love is the greatest. (Paraphrased). Sometimes it’s hard to be patient, humble, and loving when that person is nagging or being so rude.

Be the better person. Don’t lower yourselves to their level, (a level you obviously hate since you are struggling in the first place). Rise above it. Be an example to them; they may just need it. And it may have nothing to do with them. It may have to do with a friend, sibling, or someone in Walmart.
