Inspirational Places!
Sophie and I were talking about inspiration and she said something that hit home. Find a place that gives you inspiration to write. When I do this, I go outside, or go to my room if I am trying to describe a room or where something is in relation to something else, I map it out in my mind. My imagination is super powerful, (a curse and a blessing), but when I’m writing it is super helpful. We agreed that we act out scenes that are tougher to describe. Note: I also look in the mirror to describe facial expressions! When I am home alone, (that’s not often), but when I am I act out battles in the living room and yell (not too loudly) and imagine the sounds of battle and use pillows as shields. It may sound silly, but it works!
Inspirational Music!
Sophie said that she listens to music that is available or “current” in the time period she is trying to portray and write about. That’s such a good idea, right?ย
Weather!
If it is raining I go to a place in my story it’s raining and describe the sounds as I get to hear them for myself. If I am trying to imagine clouds I go outside or look out my window, it is so helpful. ๐
Writing With A Purpose!
Have fun. It’s not just about publishing a book, if you don’t enjoy it, aren’t passionate about it, love it, and other things your readers will feel it, probably, and nobody wants to say after they finish a book is to say “that was a bore to the writer as much as it was to me.” ~That’s embarrassing!
It was a little shorter today, but I think this was very important to talk about!
Thanks for reading! Check out her business, girls!! โค
Any questions you would like Sophia and I to talk about? ๐

Thank you! ๐ Cool! It’s the same for my family, actually. Haha. My grandmother has it, my Mom doesn’t, my sister does. (Skipped a generation I think). xD
